These dogs are very big and can be dangerous therefore they should be kept on a leash in public places. The dog should be consistently brought up and trained. The dog is usually good with friends and relatives of the family while it is very suspicious of strangers. The dogs will accept cats and other household pets as long as the dog has had a positive experience with them while it was young.
